Bully Integrated OEM Tailgate Lock Installation - 2001 Chevrolet Silverado- Video

Today on our 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD Crew Cab, we're going to be installing the Pilot Integrated OEM tailgate lock for 99-2007 GM full size pick up trucks. Part Number LH-003, before we begin our installation, let's go over the parts that will come with the kit. You'll get a new bezel, it has the hole in it for where the lock will come through. You'll get 2 keys for the lock, here's the locking mechanism. For securing the locking mechanism you have 2 options, you can use the standard Phillip's head screw or the security style screw. Once you tighten it down, you can't back the screw back out. Now that we've gone over our parts, let's go ahead and show you how to install it. more

Pop & Lock Power Tailgate Lock Installation - 2009 Dodge Ram Pickup- Video

Today on our 2009 Dodge Ram Pickup, we'll be installing the pop-and-lock custom tailgate lock, part number PAL8340. To begin our installation, we'll first need to remove the floor mat on the driver's side and then the threshold and kick panel. This will allow us access to the wiring that goes up into the driver's door. Now, checking with the instructions, we'll find the color code that matches this application. For us it will be the tan wire with two green tracers along with the solid light green wire. We'll take our wiretaps, put it over the wire and crimp them into position. Next, we'll take our wiring harness, plug in line with the wire taps, and plug it in to the actuator to make sure the actuator works properly. more

Pop & Lock Power Tailgate Lock Installation - 2003 Dodge Ram Pickup- Video

Today on our 2003 Dodge Ram pickup we'll be installing the Pop&Lock custom tailgate lock, part number PAL8340. Now, to begin our install, we'll first go ahead and open up the tailgate and remove the access panel. There are ten fasteners that will need to be removed and then we can set the access panel aside. Now we've got access to the back side of the handle and tailgate mechanism. We'll need to remove the two fasteners that secure the handle and latch mechanism. We can take the new Pop&Lock actuator, slide it into position, and reuse the manufacturer's nuts to secure it directly to the latch mechanism. more

The Club Twin Hooks Vehicle Lock Review- Video

Today, we'll be taking a look at the Club Twin Hooks part number WI3000. Now, with our steering wheel in the lock position, we'll simply take the club twin hooks, take the one end, along both ends. It is okay if it is a little bit loose as you can see here. There's a total of four hooks that go underneath our steering wheel to there, goes to over here. It is covered in a rubberized coating that helps protect your steering wheel from being scratched or damage. It has a ratcheting keyless style locking device, so without the key in it, we can simply pull it apart and it locks into place, and we have the secure grip handle here that allows you to carry the club around easily. The Club Vehicle Security Safe Review- Video

Today, we're going to be taking a look at The Club Vehicle Security Safe part number LB200. This Person Vault is a great way to keep all of your valuable safe underneath the seat of your vehicle or in your camp site or when you go into the hotel. It has this nice knob here that wherever it's installed, for example, if you install underneath the seat, the majority of it is hidden. All you got to do is simply just pull out on this little handle to quickly access your cellphone, wallet, or any other personal items. You can see on the inside here is a nice soft felt material so that if you have any items that are fragile or breakable, it's not going to have abrasive metal surface on the inside and there's also nice removable soft foam protective pad on the bottom, again, to help protect any valuables or breakables. It's made of a strong metal material which is nice added security for your valuables. Now, there are two ways that you can use this vault. There is this plug here which can simply plug in into that hole and the two keys that are included is use to lock it, and basically, the lock is going to go into that groove and prevent anyone from opening it, so it could be just free standing or you can use this rubber coated steel cable, which this cable can go around the post of your seat or any steel structure in your vehicle to help prevent anyone from actually removing the box from the vehicle if they happen to get in. How you'll do that is simply, again, use one of the two included keys and replace this plug here with this plug here. more

Club Twin Hooks Premiere Steering Wheel Lock Review- Video

Today well be taking a look at the Club Twin Hooks Premiere, part number WI3100. Now with the Twin Hooks Premiere fully retracted, you have an overall length of approximately 21- inches. It has a minimum locking length between the shortest part of the hooks of about 7- inches. It has a maximum locking length of approximately 14 inches and when fully extended, the overall length is about 30 inches. Now, if our vehicles still running, we need to make sure that we turn the steering wheel about one full turn before turning it off. Once we do that, the steering will go to the locked position and we can then easily take the Twin Hooks Premiere Club out from underneath our seat. more

Pop and Lock Tailgate Lock Installation - 2005 GMC Sierra- Video

Today in our 2005 GMC Sierra, we'll be installing the pop and lock custom tailgate lock, part number PAL8110. We need to gain access to the lock switch wires here in the driver's side door. We'll first begin by removing the threshold piece of plastic right here, as well as this kick plate area on the left-hand side. To do this, we'll either use a large flat head screwdriver or a trim panel removal tool and slide it up underneath the pieces of trim, pushing upward so that the lashes will release. Once we have both of these two pieces of interior panel removed, now we're ready to begin on the door. To remove the door, we'll need to remove a combination of some push fasteners, as well as some screws, as well as some interior cover parts on the door as well. As well for the lock mechanism slides back and forth. A small flat head screwdriver works great to get underneath this and pop this panel out. more

First well start by opening up the rear tailgate and remove the removable fasteners securing the rear tailgate cover. Then well remove the rear tailgate cover and set aside all for reinstallation later. As you can see, this will expose the backside of the rear tailgate handle and wiring for the backup camera. Pop and Lock Tailgate Lock Installation - 2006 Ford F-150- Video

Today on this Ford F150 we are going to be installing the Power Tailgate Lock from Pop & Lock, part number pal8250. To start our installation off we are going to go ahead and lower down the tailgate, and on the back side here we got the access panels that is covering the innards of our locking mechanism. You want to go ahead and remove that first, and there are 8 tork head screws that we have to remove to get it off the tailgate. We will next go ahead and release the rod ends from the scissor links, and to do that these little green clips here actually just flip up. Take a screw driver and then next we will take and remove the two 10 mm nuts that are holding the scissor bracket to the handle, and then we will go ahead and take it out. Okay what we are going to do is go ahead and do a quick test fit of the components here and make sure everything is working before we actually install it on the vehicle. more

Pilot Automotive Vehicle Locks - Tailgate Lock - LH-090 Review LH-090- Video

Today we are going to review part number LH-090 from Bully. This is their tailgate padlock. What this part does is it attaches to one side of your hinge of the tailgate that removes and prevents the tailgate from being stolen. This product will either fit full size or mini trucks. We are going to use this on a mini truck. This lock is designed to be used outdoors so you can leave it on at all times on your truck. To install the tailgate lock all you have to do is open the tailgate and pull off the one hinge just for a little bit and then we can install the lock. Take the lock and push it off to the side and slide it over the tailgate itself and the pin. Work it into place. Then install the lock with the key up. Push it down until it is tight and it just stays there. Now the tailgate can not be removed. And you can still close the tailgate. If a need ever arises to remove the tailgate all you have to do is use the key, unlock it, and reverse the procedure. There you have it for part number LH-090 from Bully. more

Master Lock Vehicle Locks - Motorcycle Lock - 8304DPS Review- Video

Today we are going to show you part number 8304DPS. What we have here is a 3 inch disc brake lock from Master Lock. What this lock is designed to do is prevent roll away theft and basically it goes on the front disc brake on your bike. It prevents your wheel from turning so you can not just roll it away. It is pretty easy to use. You just slide it over the disc brake and push the button down and it automatically locks itself into place. It comes with a bright orange cord that runs up to your handle bars to remind you that it is still connected to your bike. We will go ahead and cover some of the fine points really fast. This is the cord we were just talking about it stretches out from the fork all the way to your handle bars. This is the lock itself. It is pretty easy to use. What you do is turn the key and the pin comes up and your rotor goes in there. more

Master Lock Vehicle Locks - Steering Wheel Lock - 256DAT Review- Video

Today we are going to cover part number 256DAT from Master Lock. This is their Pedal to Wheel Vehicle Lock. Now, this is the type of lock that is kind of a cousin to the steering wheel lock, except that it goes between your steering wheel and whatever pedal you can use. It is pretty easy to use. One end goes around the steering wheel itself and the other end goes around whatever pedal you can use. It is simple to use. There is a key lock right here. You turn it one half-turn to unlock it, and it comes apart. Put it on the brake pedal, one end on the steering wheel, put it back together as tight as you can get it, lock it up, take the key out, and it is locked together and cannot go anywhere. We will go ahead and install it in a vehicle to give you a better idea of how it works. more

Master Lock Vehicle Locks - Motorcycle Lock - 8290DPS Review- Video

Today we are going to show you part number 8290DPS from Master Lock. What we have here is the Street Cuff power sport security lock. We will now cover a few high points of this product. First off, it looks pretty big but it does fold up nicely. It easily fits in most small cargo areas. The 3 inch cuff does fit a motorcycle fork or most frames. Again it can be secured to sign posts, parking meters, or even another bike. It has an easy to use push button keyless lock on it. The heat treated core is virtually pick proof. Just to mention a couple dimensions on this, the cuffs themselves are 3 inches inside diameter. They are 22 inches long and there are 9 links in the chain itself.
